Between them, they have well over 80 years of experience, mostly international, and have themselves lived and worked overseas.

Alan Philpott

An experienced international banker who has worked in both relationship management and on complex products such as syndicated loans, project finance, acquisition and other leveraged finance.

Has been based in both New York and London and has headed Corporate banking departments in each city.  Extensively travelled in North, Central and South America, Europe and China.

Maintains excellent contacts at senior levels in professional firms in US, UK, Scandinavia and China.  Has particular knowledge of forest product, leisure and retail industries and is well-connected in the City of London.

Robert Chase

An experienced international banker, having worked in credit and marketing, lending, forex, trade finance, recoveries and work outs, documentation, relationship management, project finance and loan and project agency.

Mainly London-based but four years spent in Bahrain in a credit and marketing role for the Arabian Peninsula.  Well travelled in Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, North America and the British Isles.

Relevant transferable skills include communication, inter-personal, relationship development, planning and organization (including functions), commercial and legal.

Bowen Liu

Our Chinese director is an established businessman in his home country. He attended university in the UK, earning his degree in economics and marketing, and then went home to set up his own businesses.

We work closely together on our Chinese business.
